Born in 1970, Dorothee studied painting, sculpture, and art welding. Since 2012, she has had the opportunity to exhibit her work at Nationale Kunstbeurs, Solo Exhibitions in Paramaribo, and Group Exhibitions in different Locations and countries. She makes various creations of her style of art, which is abstract art through acrylic, pigment, ink, modeling paste, and charcoal. She’s drawn inspiration from nature and life experiences and mastered her specialty craft; the butterfly and Kolibri technique. Five examples of her art are named, “Shattered Storm”, “Anything But”, “Standing Tall”, “Wirrwarr” and “Aufbruchstimmung”. None of which are based on or an interpretation of other arts.
