Born in Suriname in 1970, Edward attended NATIN, and has experience working as a System administrator at the morning newspaper ‘’de Ware Tijd’’. He also has experience in Web design and Graphic Design. He likes to paint with mostly acrylic paint but sometimes also oil paint. He doesn’t have a fixed style yet, but he prefers nature/still life. In 2021 he has had the opportunity to exhibit his work at the Nationale Kunstbeurs. Five examples of his art are named, “Fruit Picknick”, “Kotomisie Strijkster”, “Goudzoekers”, “Vlinder & Bloem” and “Female at Sula”. None of which are based on or an interpretation of other arts.
